Sadly, it is the simple reason we pay for clean hotels, guest houses or AIRBNB. You can make your home highly clean to give you the rest you deserve. You can quickly switch mental states to want to start living in your home place neatly and special, with its level of cleanliness resembling that of a five-star hotel.
Psychologically, cleanliness changes how we feel about ourselves and others. Our daily approach to things that we already did would seem to have a different feel; wholesomeness, definiteness, purposefulness, speed and seeming perfection.
Financial & Subtle effects of cleaning
Hiring cleaners ultimately will take money out of you but have you noticed why the homes of the rich and well-to-do are neat and organized? I have been a home cleaner in Amsterdam for years, and this observation has been repeated several times. The above-average rich people have homes neatly organised; without cobwebs, dirt, and bad odour. But the low to poor have theirs so obviously in a bad state, mostly unwilling or unable to even pay service fees. This uncleanliness can be a habit for some rich folks but at least they have learnt to ‘not like it’. The rich don’t just have the money to ensure cleanliness but the truth is, they prioritise clean home environments and organised home items. I say this not because of the movies I have watched or a story someone else told me but through progressive observation of the homes I worked in.
Financials.
I will not be surprised if the same analogy works in the financial spheres of the poor and rich people. The rich seem to organise their financial inflows, organizing or managing their financial instruments so predictably, knowing what is seemingly useless and what is not, and must be trashed. But with the poor, while the ‘trashable’ stuff is still stuck under the beds, store rooms, cabinets, and bathrooms, so are their ‘trashable’, wretched financial tools still stuck in their lives as liabilities. I find this a kind of stress. Stress! the stress of having much but useless, as against the rich’s organised life, with few but carefully selected and maintained items and instruments.
Therefore, to inspire new energy in our homes, clear the old stuff, removing cobwebs, clean sofas and beds, and all forms of dirt, clutters and stains. Ensure there’s always a battle between you and dirtiness. Dirty is not a good energy in and around anything of value. We both know this so well, yet we are mostly hesitant or sometimes even unwilling to evacuate these clouds of bad energies. This is a war you must win. So book a move-in/out deep cleaning, a get your home tidied.
